Soul Surgery for Those Who Have It All Together
You've built a life that works. You show up, you deliver, you hold it together — for your team, your family, the people who rely on you.
But somewhere underneath all of that, there's a version of you that you haven't heard from in a while.
This is a fully private, one-on-one healing retreat held in Byron Bay, Australia — where the rainforest meets the sea, and something in the land makes it easier to finally stop holding your breath.
Seven days here isn't a holiday. It's not "self-care" in the bubble-bath sense. It's a deliberate, guided unwinding — astrology to map what your soul actually came here to do, shamanic healing to work with what's been stored in your body, and long, unstructured hours in nature to let your nervous system remember what safety feels like.
You don't have to perform here. You don't have to have it figured out. You just have to show up.
This retreat is for you if:
-
You've achieved a lot — and you're starting to wonder why it doesn't feel like enough
-
You're tired of pushing through, and ready to find out what it feels like to actually receive
-
You sense there's a more grounded, more you version of yourself underneath the roles you play — and you want to meet her
Every detail of this week is designed around one person at a time, so the experience can go exactly as deep as you need it to.

Reconnect
Held in a quiet pocket of nature just outside Byron Bay, this retreat gives you something rare: total permission to step away from the noise — the inbox, the group chats, the version of you that everyone else needs — and gently clear out what's been accumulating in your mind and body.
Land, ocean, forest, wind. As you let the natural environment hold you, the recalibration happens on every level — physically, emotionally, and somewhere deeper than either of those words quite capture.
It's a quiet, unfamiliar kind of week. Away from anyone else's expectations, you get to spend real time with the simple, almost foreign feeling of just being yourself.

Healed by nature
A full week immersed in genuine healing, in one of the most beautiful natural settings in the world.
Your host has lived in this region for over a decade, and will guide you to the practitioners, healers, and quietly sacred spots that locals don't typically share — the ones that actually work.
This is a retreat built around real release. One focused week on yourself can shift the foundation the rest of your life is built on. There's a level of letting go — and restarting — that only seems to happen out here in nature. It's the kind of shift that doesn't require force. You simply find yourself moving forward again.

Inner detox & a soul-level upgrade
Led by retreat host Yuko Iwasaki, your week is built around a personalised mix of meditation, one-on-one sessions, and psychological and shamanic approaches to clearing what's sitting beneath the surface. The goal: a genuine reset — for your life, and for your sense of self — in seven days.
What is Shamanic Healing? What is Astrology? What is Breath Work?

Deep nature, digital detox
When you're genuinely immersed in nature, the mind quiets, the body softens, and something in you starts breathing again. Byron Bay has a way of reminding you that you don't have to do anything to feel aligned — you just have to be there.
To support your body in releasing built-up EMF exposure, and to help you stay focused inward, the retreat includes time away from devices and barefoot time on the earth, grounding from the inside out.

A place everyone falls a little in love with
Byron Bay sits on the easternmost point of Australia's east coast — a beach town where surf culture and healing culture have always coexisted, drawing travellers and healers from all over the world.
Around the town: ancient rainforest, eucalyptus forest, waterfalls, wild kangaroos, dolphins just offshore. The natural energy here hasn't been built over or dialled down — it's the kind of place that reconnects you to the earth almost by accident.
Why the energy here runs so strong:
-
Positioned between mountains and sea, the land naturally supports both grounding and release at the same time
-
Home to numerous First Nations sacred sites — land that holds the memory of generations of ceremony and prayer
-
Sits at the intersection of several recognised ley lines and energetic vortex points
-
As mainland Australia's easternmost point, it's the first place the sunrise touches each day
Your host
Yuko Iwasaki — Retreat host, astrologer & shamanic healer
Born in Kobe, Japan, now based in Australia, Yuko has worked as a Western astrology consultant since 2009, reading clients' innate energetic blueprint and helping them understand how to work with it rather than against it — drawing clients from Japan and around the world. Her work is built on the belief that reconnecting someone to who they actually are is, in itself, what brings their energy back into alignment.
She sees living in harmony with nature as inseparable from living in harmony with yourself — and has found, through thousands of readings, that this alignment is what makes real manifestation possible. Since 2020, she has trained in shamanic healing under teacher Kevin Turner.
Outside of her work, Yuko surfs, practices yoga, tends plants, and has a long-standing love of kimono. She's deeply invested in living in sync with the natural world and choosing food that genuinely nourishes both body and mind.

Retreat Details
A week that belongs entirely to you
The schedule below is a guide — what actually unfolds is shaped around you.
Day 1 — Arrival You arrive, settle in, and meet Yuko. A gentle orientation, a welcome dinner, and the quiet recognition that for the next seven days, there is nowhere else you need to be.
Day 2 — Map A 90-minute private astrology reading with Yuko. Not a prediction — a portrait. Your birth chart is a precise map of the energetic blueprint you arrived with: your patterns, your gifts, the tensions you've been navigating your whole life. Many guests say this is the first time they've felt genuinely seen.
Day 3 — Body A body-psychology session with Yumi Lewis, body psychotherapist. This is where the body gets to say what the mind hasn't had words for.
Day 4 — Sound Sound healing — a deeply receptive session that works below the level of thought. You don't have to do anything. You simply receive.
Day 5 — Release Your shamanic healing session with Yuko. This is the heart of the week — working with what has been stored, and beginning to let it move.
Day 6 — Integration A closing ceremony and sharing circle. A farewell dinner. The beginning of understanding what you're taking home with you.
Day 7 — Departure Breakfast, checkout, airport transfer. You leave differently from how you arrived.
Every afternoon is yours — for nature, stillness, or optional activities. Yuko may suggest gentle adjustments based on what's arising for you during the week.

Questions we often hear
Do I need any prior experience with shamanic healing, astrology, or meditation?
Not at all. Most guests arrive with curiosity rather than experience, and that's exactly right. Yuko will explain each modality before your session and guide you through everything. There is nothing to study or prepare.
Is this retreat only for women?
It's designed with women in mind, but it isn't exclusively women-only. If you're wondering whether it's the right fit, bring it to the discovery call — that's what it's for.
I've never done anything like this. Is that okay?
It's one of the most common things guests say, and it's completely fine. There's nothing to get right. The only thing asked of you is to show up.
Can I bring a friend or partner?
Yes. The retreat accommodates up to three guests and remains fully private — no strangers, no group sessions with people you haven't chosen to be with. Twin share accommodation is available, and a group discount applies.
What about food? Is it included?
Welcome dinner and farewell dinner are included. Breakfasts and lunches are not — the villa has a fully equipped kitchen, and Yuko can point you toward local options that suit your needs. Share any dietary requirements when you book and we'll make sure they're accommodated.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, but the retreat is designed around a degree of digital distance. You're encouraged — not required — to limit screen time, especially in the first few days. Most guests find they stop wanting to check their phone fairly quickly.
What should I bring?
Light, comfortable clothing for movement, nature, and healing sessions. A journal and pen. Your own yoga mat if you have one. Swimwear. Whatever makes you feel at home. A packing guide is sent after booking.
What isn't included?
International airfare, travel insurance, and tourist visa costs where applicable. We strongly recommend travel insurance that includes trip cancellation cover.
What if I need to cancel?
We understand that life happens.
-
28+ days before: full refund, excluding the AUD $500 registration deposit
-
15–27 days before: 75% refund
-
5–14 days before: 50% refund
-
1–4 days before, or on the day: non-refundable
The AUD $500 registration deposit is non-refundable in all cases. If we ever need to cancel on our end, you receive a full refund including the deposit.
Can I pay in instalments?
Please reach out and we'll see what we can work out together.
How do I know if this is right for me?
That's exactly what the discovery call is for.
No obligation — just a conversation to help you feel clear about whether this is the right step, and when.
Ready to find out if this is for you?
This retreat is for one person at a time, by design. There's no group, no performance, no version of yourself you need to hold together. Just seven days in one of the most quietly powerful places on earth — with someone who will hold space for whatever needs to move.
If something in you has been reading this and nodding, that's worth paying attention to.
No pressure. No commitment. Just a conversation.
